TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using StoicForge ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use StoicForge.

These terms apply to all users including waitlist members, beta testers, and paying subscribers.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

StoicForge is an AI-powered voice coaching application that provides:

• Personalised daily voice check-ins
• Accountability coaching through AI-generated voice interactions
• Stoic philosophy-based guidance and challenges
• Habit tracking and streak monitoring
• Weekly psychological endurance tests

StoicForge is a coaching and accountability tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, or medical advice.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age to use StoicForge. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. ACCOUNTS AND WAITLIST

When joining the waitlist or creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour.

5. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENTS

FOUNDING MEMBER PRICING:
Users who join the waitlist within the first 1,000 spots will be eligible for locked founding member pricing upon launch. This pricing is non-transferable.

BILLING:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

CANCELLATION:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial refunds for unused subscription time

REFUNDS:

• We offer a 7-day refund for first-time subscribers who are unsatisfied with the Service
• Refund requests must be submitted to support@stoicforge.app within 7 days of initial charge

6. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree NOT to:

• Use StoicForge for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
• Share your account with others
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to extract or scrape AI model data
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

7. AI COACHING DISCLAIMER

StoicForge uses artificial intelligence to generate coaching responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI coaching is not a replacement for professional mental health support
• Responses are generated automatically and may not always be perfectly tailored to your situation
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately
• StoicForge is not liable for decisions made based on AI coaching interactions

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, branding, AI models, voice personas, and technology within StoicForge are the exclusive property of StoicForge and its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any StoicForge content without express written permission.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoicForge shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Decisions made based on AI coaching interactions
• Service interruptions or technical issues

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to StoicForge at any time for violation of these terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@stoicforge.app

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before changes take effect.

Continued use of StoicForge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
